Civil Ceremonies at the Maison Talbooth

The new marriage act enables you to get married away from a church or registry office. We have been awarded a license at Maison Talbooth to hold wedding ceremonies for up to 50 guests. Maison Talbooth enjoys a superb position overlooking the river valley with water meadows stretching away to the mediaeval church of Stratford St Mary.

The ultimate wedding package combines a ceremony at Maison Talbooth with a reception at Le Talbooth - this offers the most sophisticated and stylish way to tie the knot! With 10 splendid double rooms, we invite the wedding party to celebrate without intrusion at this beautiful house.

Our wedding package begins on the night before the wedding. when the guests check into the hotel. In the evening, we can arrange a light buffet menu in the sitting room or dinner in Le Talbooth. Alternatively a walk into the village to one of the local pubs is an ideal way to relax before the big day.

On the wedding morning, we can arrange for a hairdresser, manicurist and florist to visit you after breakfast, whilst the sitting room is organised for the ceremony. After taking your marriage vows in this ideal setting, it's off to Le Talbooth for the reception.

For those wishing to extend the reception into Saturday evening, we can arrange a finger buffet and bar at Maison Talbooth, as long as all ten bedrooms are booked for the Saturday night.What better way to spend your day than extending your stay with family and friends and then leaving on Sunday morning after a hearty breakfast.
